FLCL
FLCL is my all time favourite anime!! This show is all about growing up and making the mundane something. The animation is incredible as well as the metaphorical coming of age plot. It shows you how you shouldn't take things too seriously and embrace your weirdness. But it might be too weird... I watched this show when I was extremely young and now I'm way too scared to rewatch it in fear I won't like it as much D:
Look Back
This is an amazing movie about how it feels to be an artist, or any sort of creator really! It's super relatable in the sense that it touches on jealousy, talent, and how it feels to want to become skilled at something. I also quite like the manga, though the movie made me appreciate it more!
False Memory
There's only a pilot episode for this animation thus far. But it's probably my biggest animation inspiration if it comes to the action and motion. It's also another pretty introspective animation about remembering others and how you grow up to eventually move on.
